Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Willard, OH is seeking a Material Handler to support manufacturing floor operations by collecting, securing, and moving book sections through binding and pressing. You will help ensure a steady flow of materials and uphold high safety and quality standards.

This role involves operating stackers and robots, securing loads, feeding binding machines, and moving finished products to skids while maintaining a clean, safe workplace and collaborating with teammates to hit daily

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for an 8-hour shift and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to learn through on-the-job training.
• Basic English communication preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate stackers and robots to collect, organize, and prepare book sections for the next stage of production.
• Secure gathered book sections with straps to ensure they remain intact during transport and processing.
• Feed materials into binding machines and move finished products from the production line to skids or boxes.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols to support our goal of zero accidents.
• Collaborate with your team to meet daily production goals and cross-train in different roles to expand your skills.
