Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Willard, OH is seeking a Material Handler to support our pressroom operations. You will assist in collecting, securing, and moving book sections, feeding binding machines, and helping maintain a safe, efficient production flow.

Qualifications

• Stand for an 8-hour shift, wearing required PPE.
• Willingness to learn through hands-on training and adapt to new roles.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Operate stackers and robots to collect, organize, and prepare book sections for the next stage of production.
• Secure gathered book sections with straps to keep them intact during transport.
• Feed materials into binding machines and move finished products to skids or boxes.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and reducing accidents.
• Collaborate with the team to meet daily production goals and cross-train in different roles.
