Job summary

FEUER Powertrain North America, Inc. in Robinsonville, MS, is hiring a Material Handler who will ensure packed goods meet quality and quantity standards before shipment. You will assist in stacking, packing, and transporting parts according to our procedures.

The role requires at least 1 year boxing/packing experience, and a high school diploma. You will work in a clean, climate-controlled facility with safety-focused practices and opportunities for advancement and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year boxing/packing experience.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment.
• Education: High School
• Ability to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
• Able to stand the majority of the shift (12 hours max).

Responsibilities

• Stack and pile finished goods into containers.
• Prepare goods for shipment.
• Pack them following a specific set of instructions.
• Clean and prepare containers for packing.
• Check to ensure containers are damage free.
• Verify if items pulled out of package are correct.
• Fill out forms and papers to record measurement, weight, and product count.
• Remove completed or defective products or materials
• Review packing lists.
• Seal, label, and tag containers.

Summary

The Material Handler will ensure that the quality and quantity of packaged goods conforms to the company's and customer's standards before shipment. They will aid in the stacking, packing, and transportation of parts.
