Potter Global Technologies in Hazelwood, MO is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to support our production by accurately receiving, organizing, and delivering materials to the floor. This full-time, on-site role fits fast-paced environments and rewards detail-oriented teammates who collaborate to maintain smooth operations.

You will read work orders, pick and pack items, prepare shipping documentation, update inventory, and work with carriers to meet daily shipping goals. 36 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve products from designated storage locations within the warehouse
• Read work orders or oral instructions to determine materials to be picked, packaged, and shipped
• Identify items based on order specs and ensure correct quantities
• Pack materials into containers per packing requirements
• Ensure materials are packed to prevent damage in transit
• Prepare shipping labels, verify addresses, and ensure documentation is complete
• Coordinate shipment processes with carriers for timely dispatch
• Conduct visual inspections for defects or discrepancies
• Update stock levels in inventory systems and communicate shortages/overages
• Work with the team to meet daily shipping goals and take on added duties as needed

As a Material Handler, you will support the development of cutting-edge products from concept through production by ensuring materials and components are accurately received, organized, and delivered to the production floor. Our manufacturing team is looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly. What You’ll Do

• Retrieve products from designated storage locations within the warehouse
• Accurately read work order or follow oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be picked, packaged, and shipped
• Accurately identifying items based on order specifications and ensuring the correct quantity is selected
• Pack all materials into appropriate containers based on specific packing requirements
• Ensure materials are packed effective to avoid damage during transit
• Coordinate the shipment process by preparing shipping labels, verifying addresses, and ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete
• Collaborate with shipping carriers to facilitate the timely dispatch of packages
• Conduct visual inspections of products during the picking and packing stages to identify any defects or discrepancies
• Utilize inventory management systems to update stock levels and communicate any shortages or overages, as needed
• Work effectively as a team to achieve daily shipping goals
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support team goals and project milestones

Key Strengths & Skills

• Ability to conduct repetitive movements of lightweight parts (up to 10 pounds/part)
• Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Able to interact with others in a respectful and collaborative manner
• Adequately read and follow written instructions from an operation manual

Location

This is a full-time position, on-site at our Hazlewood, MO location. The expected schedule is 36hours per week, Monday through Wednesday, but an occasional shift in hours may be necessary to accommodate project schedules.
