Responsibilities

• Receive product from production line to packing table.
• Label material and pack into bags or use plastic wrapping for protection.
• Package final items: coils onto pallet or sticks into delivery area.
• Ensure product is the correct type and labelled correctly.
• Count and wrap final pallets for inventory put away.
• Assists Quality Control to identify issues (color, finish, print, etc.).
• Understands basic operation of cutting / packaging equipment.
• Be able to operate saw, coiler, and switch between the two.
• Be able to load pre-defined coiler programs.
• Any additional duties assigned by management.

SUMMARY

The Material Handler is responsible for preparing goods for final put away including labeling, wrapping, or bagging and stacking on pallets or in carts. Minor duties include scrap regrind, housekeeping and minor machine operations. *** This position includes a $1 shift premium ***

IN THIS ROLE, THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL
