Job summary

Dexcom, Inc. is seeking an experienced Material Handler to join the Mesa team. The role covers receiving, shipping, manufacturing support, and inventory control, with a focus on compliant, timely material movement per quality procedures.

Responsibilities include operating a range of material handling equipment, entering ERP/WMS transactions, and supporting international shipping. Candidates should have 4+ years in material handling and forklift certification, plus strong English communication

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in material handling.
• 1 year Oracle/WMS or 2 years in other ERP/WMS transactions.
• 1+ year operating electric material handling equipment.
• Basic computer data entry skills.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office.
• Forklift certification required.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete warehousing activities including receiving, shipping, manufacturing support and inventory control.
• Operate multiple material handling equipment types (pallet jacks, reach trucks, turret trucks, electric riders).
• Enter transactions in ERP/WMS and investigate shipping/receiving issues.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound freight and support international shipping.
• Collaborate with supervisors to implement process improvements.
• Lead daily team meetings and train new staff.
• Create basic reports on performance metrics.
• Assist in assigning workload based on priorities.

Job description

Meet the team:

Intermediate warehousing position that is expected complete all tasks under general supervision. Material Handler 3 performs a variety of warehouse functions including but not limited to receiving, shipping, manufacturing support, and inventory control. Position in responsible for completing the physical and systematic movement of material in accordance with all safety, cGMP, and quality procedures. Position is expected to transact all material timely and compile and maintain all required documents for material movement as per quality procedures. This position may work with raw materials, dangerous goods, WIP materials, finished goods, returned goods, R&D materials, etc.

Work Schedule: Must be flexible to work weekends and overtime, Hours and shifts are subject to change.

Shift: Monday - Friday 6AM - 3:30PM

Location: (RDC) 8046 E Ray Rd Mesa, AZ

Where you come in:

• Completes all warehousing activities including but not limited to receiving, shipping, manufacturing support, and inventory control in compliance with Safety, cGMP, and Quality Standard Operating Procedures.
• Able to perform all activities of a Material Handler 2.
• Utilizes pallet jacks, stand-up reach trucks, sit-down reach trucks, turret trucks, electric rider jacks, box trucks to unload/load material and transport it between areas.
• Able to obtain and/or has been certified on multiple types of material handling equipment.
• Performs transactions in ERP/WMS system including but not limited to shipping, entering cycle counts and material receipts, shipments, etc.
• Able to investigate and resolve shipping or receiving issues utilizing ERP/WMS system.
• Broad knowledge of Oracle ERP/High Jump WMS system.
• Able to perform intermediate functions in Excel including such as creating tables, sorting/filtering data, etc.
• Able to coordinates inbound and outbound freight.
• Able to support international shipping activity.
• Cross-trained in multiple functions in the warehouse(s) such as receiving, shipping, and inventory control.
• In collaboration with his supervisors, assists in implementing process improvement ideas.
• Assists in leading daily team meetings to review team performance and daily workload.
• Provides hands on training to new employees/temporary employees on warehouse functions.
• Helps assign activities to team based on priorities set by leadership.
• Creates and/runs basic reports around performance metrics.
• Investigates a resolves basic customer requests from internal partners.

What makes you successful:

• 4+ years of experience in material handling role.
• 1 year utilizing Oracle/WMS or 2 years of experience completing transactions in other ERP/WMS system
• 1+ year experience operating electric powered material handling equipment
• Basic computer data entry skills
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office
• Ability to obtain a forklift certification
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills

Experience and Education :

• Typically requires a minimum of 4-6 years of related experience and High School diploma/certificate or equivalent.
