Job summary

Dexcom is seeking a Material Handler 2 at our Mesa, AZ facility to support warehousing operations. You will handle receiving, shipping, and inventory tasks under general supervision, ensuring compliance with safety, cGMP, and quality standards.

You will transact in ERP/WMS, use forklifts, and assist in data entry and cycle counts. The ideal candidate has 2+ years' material handling experience, ERP/WMS familiarity, forklift certification, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in material handling.
• ERP/WMS system experience.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Basic data entry in Excel or similar programs.

Responsibilities

• Unload, load, and retrieve material using hand trucks, forklifts, or other equipment.
• Transact in ERP/WMS systems for shipping, receipts, and cycle counts.
• Verify material information (part numbers, lot numbers, expiration dates, quantities).
• Prepare pick lists for manufacturing and planning.
• Maintain accurate documentation for material movement per quality procedures.
• Look up material status/location in ERP/WMS.

Material Handler 2 performs a variety of warehouse functions including but not limited to receiving, shipping, manufacturing support, and inventory control. Position is responsible for completing the physical and systematic movement of material in accordance with all safety, cGMP, and quality procedures. Position is expected to transact all material timely and compile and maintain all required documents for material movement as per quality procedures. This position may work with raw materials, dangerous goods, WIP materials, finished goods, returned goods, R&D materials, etc.Schedules : 2A Sun-Tues, every other Wednesday, Can work anytime from 5pm-5amLocation : 8046 E Ray RD Mesa 85212Where you come in:Completes all warehousing activities including but not limited to receiving, shipping, manufacturing support, and inventory control in compliance with Safety, cGMP, and Quality Standard Operating Procedures.Unload, load, put away and retrieve material utilizing hand trucks, powered forklifts, or other material handling equipment.Able to obtain and/or has been certified on at least one types of material handling equipment.Performs transactions in ERP/WMS system including but not limited to shipping, entering cycle counts, material receipts, shipments, etc.Able to look-up material status/location in ERP/WMS system.Utilizes Outlook to send emails to internal partners.Able to complete basic data entry in Excel or other programs.Performs 7-point inspection on tractor trailers prior to unloading/loading materials.Inspects inbound materials for damages.Verifies material information including but not limited to part number, lot number, expiration date, quantity against vendor paperwork and PO.Reviews raw material specification for instructions prior to receiving/labeling materials.Prepares pick list for materials based on request from manufacturing and/or planning.Picks, stages, and transacts bulk and non-bulk materials.Actively looking for opportunities to drive improvements in operation and brings up suggestions to supervisory staff.What makes you successful:2+ years of experience in material handling role.1 year utilizing Oracle/WMS or 2 years of experience completing transactions in other ERP/WMS system1+ year experience operating electric powered material handling equipmentBasic computer data entry skillsBasic understanding of Microsoft OfficeAbility to obtain a forklift certificationStrong written and verbal English communication skillsStrong mathematical and problem-solving skillsWhat you’ll get:A front row seat to life changing CGM technology.
