Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler for the 2nd shift to support our manufacturing operations. The role involves handling parts, supporting safety and quality programs, and working under direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Parts cleaning and assembly using hand/pedestal grinders and other metal finishing equipment.
• Utilize material handling equipment such as hand trucks, forklifts, and cranes.
• Ensure error-free work for internal and external customers.
• Support safety and quality protocols by following established rules and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Shift Details

Second shift: 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays and occasional Sundays. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Basic problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to operate forklifts and cranes; proficiency with hand tools (hammer, pliers, screwdriver, wrench, drill, grinder, bander).
• Ability to read tape measures and use measuring tools (preferred).
• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

• Ability to lift 20-50 lbs. repeatedly.
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, twist, and stoop for long periods.
• Ability to walk 2-5 miles during shifts.
• Good vision (20/30 with corrective lenses).
• Work in indoor and outdoor environments, exposed to temperature changes, noise, vibration, chemicals, fumes, dust, and oils.
