Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in Warrenton, MO is hiring for a 2nd shift production role, offering $20.00 per hour with a $2.00 shift premium.

You will move materials, support the production schedule, perform routine maintenance, and apply inspection procedures to materials and products. Prior manufacturing experience is required, with punctual attendance and overtime availability.

• Prior manufacturing experience is required.
• Able to read simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Able to write, perform basic math, and read a tape measure.
• Punctual with excellent attendance; available for overtime.

Responsibilities

• Moving materials (primarily glass) using vacuum lift assist equipment, manually lifting, and moving mobile carts to facilitate production.
• Understanding the schedule and inventory requirements to keep production on schedule.
• Performing preventative maintenance activities on equipment, such as cleaning and inspecting.
• Understanding and applying inspection procedures and tolerances to pass or reject materials and/or products.

What You'll Get to Do

Job responsibilities include:

• Moving materials (primarily glass) using vacuum lift assist equipment, manually lifting, and moving mobile carts from one position/location to another to facilitate the production process
• Understanding the schedule and the inventory requirements to keep production on schedule
• Performing preventative maintenance activities on equipment, such as cleaning and inspecting
• Understanding and applying inspection procedures and tolerances to pass or reject materials and/or products
