Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in Warrenton, MO is hiring for a Material Handler on 1st/2nd/3rd shifts. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour, with $2.00 shift premium on 2nd and 3rd shifts.

The role involves moving materials (glass) with vacuum lift assist, supporting production schedules, and performing routine equipment maintenance. You will also learn inspection tolerances and pass/reject materials as part of quality checks, ensuring smooth production flows.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing experience.
• Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Able to write, perform basic math, and read a tape measure.
• Punctual and excellent attendance.
• Be available for overtime and emergency work.

Responsibilities

• Moving materials (primarily glass) using vacuum lift assist equipment, manually lifting, and moving mobile carts from one position/location to another to facilitate the production process.
• Understanding the schedule and the inventory requirements to keep production on schedule.
• Performing preventative maintenance activities on equipment, such as cleaning and inspecting.
• Understanding and applying inspection procedures and tolerances to pass or reject materials and/or products.

Starting Pay $20.00 per hour

1st shift - 7:00am to 3:00pm

2nd Shift - 3:00pm to 11:00pm (an additional $2.00 per hour shift premium paid)

3rd Shift - 11pm to 7:00am (an additional $2.00 per hour shift premium paid)

What You'll Get to Do
