Job summary

L'Oréal in Florence, KY is hiring a Material Handler/Forklift Operator for 2nd shift (2:30 pm - 10:40 pm). You will move materials in the warehouse and handle SAP and Flexnet data entries, receive vendor deliveries, verify quantities, and complete paperwork.

The role requires forklift experience (min 1 year preferred) and ability to lift 50 lbs, with overtime as needed. The position offers a safety-focused environment and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Minimum 1 year experience in warehouse environment including operating a forklift preferred.
• Ability to bend, twist, stand, and lift 50 lbs. for the duration of the assigned shift.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.
• Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent, ongoing basis is required. No immigration support/sponsorship offered for this role.

Responsibilities

• Physically and logically move all components or chemicals as required to support manufacturing and processing.
• Receives incoming vendor deliveries, verifies receipt quantities and related documentation; completes computer entries and paperwork.
• Load finished good pallets onto trailers following safety guidelines and ensure accurate scanning.
• Complete cycle counts as required.
• Train temporary staff in Safety & Quality and provide work instruction for temporaries.
• Investigate inventory movement anomalies using the computer inventory system.

Shift Information: 2nd shift + $21.50 Base Pay + ($1.00 shift differential)

Monday - Friday, 2:30 pm - 10:40 pm

Position Overview/Position Responsibilities

Forklift Operators are accountable for the physical movement and the computer system transactions for all materials in the manufacturing warehouse and production / pre-weigh areas. This includes receiving incoming vendor deliveries, verifying receipt quantities and related documentation, completing all computer entries using L’Oréal’s warehouse systems (SAP and Flexnet) and completing all associated paper work.

Essential Functions

• Physically and logically move all components or chemicals as required to support manufacturing and processing (Retrieval for Pkg floor, retrieval for Pre-weigh, AGV Chasing function, supply of exchange rack, etc.) Locate all incoming merchandise using L’Oréal’s warehouse systems (Flexnet) (Sample as necessary, utilize Putaway function in Flexnet).
• Receives incoming vendor deliveries, verifies receipt quantities & related documentation. Completes all computer entries using L'Oreal's warehouse systems (SAP and Flexnet) and completes all associated paperwork.
• Load finished good pallets onto trailers following trailer safety guidelines & ensuring accurate scanning to proper destination.
• Complete cycle counts as required.
• Train temporary staff in the areas of Safety & Quality. Provide work instruction for temporaries.
• Investigate anomalies with inventory movements, receipts, etc. using computer inventory system.
