Job summary

L’Oréal in Florence, KY is seeking a Material Handler/Forklift Operator for the 2nd shift. You will move materials in our manufacturing warehouse and handle related SAP and Flexnet entries, with a base pay of $21.50/hour plus $1.00 shift differential, on a Mon-Fri 2:30 pm - 10:40 pm schedule.

Responsibilities include receiving vendor deliveries, verifying quantities, loading pallets, and performing cycle counts. Overtime may be required; safety and quality training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in warehouse environment including operating a forklift preferred.
• Ability to bend, twist, stand, and lift 50 lbs. for the duration of the assigned shift.
• Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent, ongoing basis is required.

Responsibilities

• Move all materials physically and in computer systems (Flexnet/SAP) to support manufacturing and processing.
• Receive incoming vendor deliveries and verify quantities and documentation; complete related computer entries.
• Load finished goods pallets onto trailers following safety guidelines and accurate scanning.
• Perform cycle counts as required.
• Train temporary staff in Safety & Quality and provide work instructions.
• Investigate inventory movement anomalies using the computer inventory system.

Position Overview/Position Responsibilities

Forklift Operators are accountable for the physical movement and the computer system transactions for all materials in the manufacturing warehouse and production / pre-weigh areas. This includes receiving incoming vendor deliveries, verifying receipt quantities and related documentation, completing all computer entries using L’Oréal’s warehouse systems (SAP and Flexnet) and completing all associated paper work.

• Must be 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
• Minimum 1 year experience in warehouse environment including operating a forklift preferred
• Ability to bend, twist, stand, and lift 50 lbs. for the duration of the assigned shift.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.

Essential Functions

• Physically and logically move all components or chemicals as required to support manufacturing and processing (Retrieval for Pkg floor, retrieval for Pre-weigh, AGV Chasing function, supply of exchange rack, etc.) Locate all incoming merchandise using L’Oréal’s warehouse systems (Flexnet) (Sample as necessary, utilize Putaway function in Flexnet).
• Receives incoming vendor deliveries, verifies receipt quantities & related documentation. Completes all computer entries using L'Oreal's warehouse systems (SAP and Flexnet) and completes all associated paperwork.
• Load finished good pallets onto trailers following trailer safety guidelines & ensuring accurate scanning to proper destination.
• Complete cycle counts as required.
• Train temporary staff in the areas of Safety & Quality. Provide work instruction for temporaries.
• Investigate anomalies with inventory movements, receipts, etc. using computer inventory system.
