Job summary

L’Oréal USA in Florence, KY is seeking a Material Handler/Forklift Operator for the 2nd shift (2:30 pm – 10:40 pm). The role features a base pay of $21.50 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential, with a Monday–Friday schedule.

You will manage material movement in the manufacturing warehouse, perform system transactions in SAP and Flexnet, and ensure accurate paperwork. Qualifications include at least 1 year of warehouse experience (forklift preferred) and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred in a warehouse setting.
• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move components and chemicals physically and in the warehouse system.
• Receive vendor deliveries and verify quantities and documentation.
• Enter data in SAP and Flexnet and complete related paperwork.
• Load finished goods pallets onto trailers following safety guidelines.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with training temporary staff.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies using the inventory system.

Position Overview/Position Responsibilities: Forklift Operators are accountable for the physical movement and the computer system transactions for all materials in the manufacturing warehouse and production / pre-weigh areas. This includes receiving incoming vendor deliveries, verifying receipt quantities and related documentation, completing all computer entries using L’Oréal’s warehouse systems (SAP and Flexnet) and completing all associated paper work.

• What we are looking for:
• Must be 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
• Minimum 1 year experience in warehouse environment including operating a forklift preferred
• Ability to bend, twist, stand, and lift 50 lbs. for the duration of the assigned shift.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.
• Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent, ongoing basis is required. No immigration support/sponsorship offered for this role.

Essential Functions:

• Physically and logically move all components or chemicals as required to support manufacturing and processing (Retrieval for Pkg floor, retrieval for Pre-weigh, AGV Chasing function, supply of exchange rack, etc.) Locate all incoming merchandise using L’Oréal’s warehouse systems (Flexnet) (Sample as necessary, utilize Putaway function in Flexnet).
• Receives incoming vendor deliveries, verifies receipt quantities & related documentation. Completes all computer entries using L'Oreal's warehouse systems (SAP and Flexnet) and completes all associated paperwork.
• Load finished good pallets onto trailers following trailer safety guidelines & ensuringaccuratescanning to proper destination.
• Complete cycle counts asrequired.
• Train temporary staff in the areas of Safety & Quality. Provide work instruction for temporaries .
• Investigate anomalies with inventory movements, receipts, etc. using computer inventory system .
