Job summary

Rittal LLC in Urbana, OH, is seeking a Material Handler on the 2nd shift to support inventory control and order fulfillment. You will use RF scanners, operate forklifts, and load/unload trucks as part of a team.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Forklift certification required; prior warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to use RF scanners and basic computer systems (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights up to 20 feet.

Responsibilities

• Accurately receive and verify inbound stock from vendors.
• Use RF scanners to put away stock and manage inventory.
• Pick, bundle, and stage customer orders for shipment.
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Transport materials to and from production areas as needed.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and internal audits.
• Support 6-S initiatives and perform general housekeeping duties.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse and material handling functions.
• Follow all safety and quality standards to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
