Job Summary:
Responsible for the overall receiving, warehousing, tracking, storage, organization, and distribution of all production material, including secured, non-secured material, raw material, and finished goods used in the production process. Maintain quality, safety, behavioral, and attendance standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain system accuracy and process for receiving, organizing, segregating, identifying, and storing all inventory materials across warehouses, both physically and within the ERP system.
- Unload, put away, sort, label, pick, package, replenish, and audit warehouse materials, ensuring organized storage.
- Issue materials to WIP and finished goods using the ERP system, generating pick lists as needed.
- Manage warehouse requests via email, including quality releases, shipment notifications, pull requests, and cycle counts.
- Ensure all materials are properly identified with G&D item numbers, matched with ERP IDs, segregated from non-inventory items, and stored correctly.
- Move materials using hand, pallet jack, or forklift to ensure continuous flow.
- Conduct physical and cycle counts to meet company guidelines, participating in annual and cycle inventories.
- Follow safety procedures in all work activities.
- Maintain secured material regulations.
- Resolve discrepancies with supervisor assistance.
- Keep work area clean and equipment maintained.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience in inventory management or warehousing preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP systems preferred.
- Knowledge of inventory management procedures.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and oral.
- Organizational skills, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize.
- Proficiency with computer applications like ERP and Microsoft Office.
- Physical ability to move inventory, lift up to 75 pounds, and stand for long periods.
- Ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Other duties as assigned.
