Position Summary:

Support manufacturing, production, and shipping/receiving functions by moving materials using a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) or other equipment.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Operate a Powered Industrial Truck safely to move or load products and materials.
2. Follow all safety specifications, including stacking heights, seat belt use, speed limits, and signage.
3. Maintain awareness of surroundings to ensure safety of all associates, products, and equipment.
4. Perform battery charging and changes safely according to company guidelines.
5. Stack products and materials safely in various environments.
6. Participate in 5S initiatives as required.
7. Perform inventory and coil hanging functions as needed.
8. Work as part of a team, identifying safety and process improvements.
9. Operate banding equipment as required.
10. Adhere to tagging specifications.
11. Perform shipping/receiving functions, including using scanners and computers, and loading/unloading trucks.
12. Perform other duties as directed by leadership.
