We are looking for a motivated and reliable 2nd shift Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will be working in a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly. The Material Handler is responsible for moving and storing materials and products within the facility while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

Tools Inc. is an established tool and die, and metal stamping company in Sussex, WI founded in 1957. We partner with our customers providing them with innovative and world-class solutions in single-hit, progressive, transfer and deep draw dies, precision sheet metal stampings, and laser cutting. We pride ourselves on our quality, timeliness and service.

Essential Job Functions

• Operate sit-down and standup forklifts to transport materials safely and efficiently
• Identify and pull parts to move to correct inspection area or production cell
• Receive assemblies and process work orders built by production
• Think ahead and stay on task interpreting workflow and schedule
• Maintain a clean and organized work area free from clutter
• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisors or Managers
  
  

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience operating both sit-down and standup forklifts in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with other team members and supervisors
• Must be willing to work as a team
• Understanding of safety procedure and practices related to material handling
• Excellent attendance
• Reliable transportation
  
  

Physical Demands

Ability to lift up to 50 LBS, lift twist, grab, stand (up to 8 to 10 hours), walk, push, pull, use both hands to lift and lower materials, and perform all other essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
