Job summary

Donaldson is seeking a Material Handler for the 2nd shift at our Nicholasville, KY site. You will move, organize, and locate sheet-metal parts, operating a forklift and RF Scanner while following safety policies and work instructions.

The role emphasizes collaboration, independent work, and participation in continuous improvement activities. Overtime may be required to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High school degree, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to operate forklifts of various makes and models.
• Strong communications skills for interdepartmental efficiency.
• Experience managing multiple tasks within a shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate RF Scanner to locate parts and verify part numbers.
• Move, organize, and locate sheet-metal parts per work instructions.
• Follow EHS rules and wear required PPE; work safely and collaboratively.
• Support other departments and be available for overtime as needed.

This is a 2nd shift onsite role, with hours Monday - Thursday 3 p.m. to 1 a.m.Role Responsibilities:Work and drive safely, observing all EHS rulesKnowledge of and ability to process paperwork such as route sheets, picklists, etc.Ability to read, understand and utilize route sheets, picklists and blueprintsAbility to operate an RF Scanner to locate partsAbility to organize parts by job order per the work instructionsMust be a self-starter with ability to work independentlyMaterial Handling and Transportation of ProductPerform other tasks as directedComply with all Health and Safety policies and proceduresUses all designated Personal Protective Equipment as requiredActive involvement in DPS through continuous improvement and kaizen eventsMust be able to work scheduled overtime hoursAssist other departments as assignedWhile this list is representative of essential job duties, it is not an all-inclusive list of duties required to perform this role.
