Job description

Title: Material Handler Forklift Experience Required
(Must pass written and practical forklift tests)

Shift: 2nd shift: 2pm to 10pm

Requirements: Steel-toed boots or shoes required.

Job Purpose:

Provide a clean working environment to ensure the production of safe, quality food.

Essential Duties:

• Perform cleaning, sanitation, product packaging, labeling, warehousing, and other duties as assigned.
• Complete daily cleaning schedules, facilities evaluations, weekly cleaning, and related paperwork.
• Follow all GMP, food safety, and safety policies and procedures.
• Operate forklift and complete related documentation for tote production, organic sugar production, deliveries, and shipments.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Assist maintenance personnel as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to understand verbal and written communication.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Previous forklift experience required.
• Cleaning experience preferred.
• Experience in industrial food processing is a plus.
• Must have steel-toed boots.
