Kinetic Personnel Group is hiring a dependable Material Handler for Huntington Beach, CA on 2nd shift. You will oversee material flow between warehouse and production, receiving, inspecting, stocking, picking, labeling, and transporting items to support production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 6 months of material handling or related experience preferred.
• Forklift experience and certification strongly preferred.
• Experience operating a stand-up forklift/cherry picker preferred.
• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems preferred.
• Ability to read, count, and perform basic math.
• Follow detailed instructions and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• English reading/writing/listening strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive PO into ERP, scan receiving tickets, and label items.
• Inspect, bag, label, and reconcile parts for quality and quantity.
• Stock and replenish materials; perform cycle counts.
• Move materials via carts, pallet jacks, forklifts, and vehicles.
• Load/unload deliveries; verify shipments vs PO.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse area.
• Assist with process improvements and daily team tasks.
• Follow all safety PPE guidelines and procedures.

Material Handler – 2nd ShiftLocation: Huntington Beach, CASchedule: Monday–Friday, 2:15 PM – 11:00 PMPay: $20.00 per hourEmployment Type: Full-TimePosition OverviewWe are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our warehouse and production team in Huntington Beach. The Material Handler is responsible for maintaining the flow of materials between the warehouse and production areas, ensuring production teams have the parts and materials needed to fulfill orders efficiently.This position involves receiving, inspecting, stocking, picking, and transporting materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and a clean, organized warehouse.ResponsibilitiesReceive purchase orders (POs) into the ERP system from outside vendors.Scan receiving tickets into the ERP system and generate labels.Unwrap cartons, visually inspect parts, and reconcile purchase orders for quantity and quality.Bag, inspect, and label finished parts.Process replenishment requests and put materials away in designated stock locations.Pick parts from inventory locations and perform cycle counts.Maintain inventory accuracy through physical and system inventory audits.Load and unload delivery trucks and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.Identify and report missing, damaged, or incorrect products.Transport materials using handcarts, pallet jacks, stand-up forklifts, and company vehicles.Operate a stand-up forklift/cherry picker safely and efficiently.Transport replenishment materials between multiple warehouse locations as needed.Maintain accurate labeling and organization of warehouse and picking areas.Identify and troubleshoot inventory discrepancies.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.Assist with problem-solving, process improvements, and completing daily team tasks.Follow all company safety procedures and required PPE guidelines.Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred.At least 6 months of material handling, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or related experience preferred.Forklift experience and certification strongly preferred.Experience operating a stand-up forklift/cherry picker preferred.Experience working with an ERP or inventory management system strongly preferred.Ability to accurately read, count, and perform basic math calculations.Ability to follow detailed instructions and established procedures.Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.Dependable, organized, and able to work effectively as part of a team.Ability to communicate issues and help solve routine problems.Ability to work overtime as needed.Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English is strongly preferred.Must have a clean driving record if operating company vehicles.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.Frequent reaching above and below shoulder level.Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, squat, twist, crawl, climb, and balance as needed.Ability to routinely lift and carry up to 50 lbs.Ability to safely operate material handling equipment.Ability to move and transport materials throughout warehouse and production areas.Work Environment & SafetyIndoor warehouse and manufacturing environment.Possible exposure to heat, cold, dust, and moderate noise.May work around adhesives, power tools, and forced air.Must follow proper material-handling techniques and all company safety procedures.Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse and production environment.
