California Faucets is seeking a 1st Shift Material Handler for a temporary on-site assignment at our Huntington Beach, CA facility. Shift runs Monday–Friday, 5:15 AM–2:00 PM, with responsibilities to stock production areas, move merchandise between warehouse and production, and ensure material availability for orders.
The role involves receiving POs, ERP scanning, pallet handling, cycle counts, and ensuring inventory accuracy.
California Faucets is looking to bring on a 1st Shift Material Handler for a temporary assignment. This role is based on site in our Huntington Beach, CA facility. The hours for this position will be Monday through Friday, full-time from 5:15AM to 2:00PM.
The Material Handler is responsible for ensuring that the production departments are fully stocked and have the products/materials that they need to fulfill orders and move product quickly. They maintain the flow of merchandise between warehouse and production locations using equipment such as lifts, motor vehicles and pallet jacks. They are responsible for stocking raw goods inventory into warehouse locations and maintaining and assisting with the organization of picking aisles. They also perform quality control measures to ensure that quality-checked merchandise is available to the production departments as needed.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
The position requires contact primarily within the department on routine matters. Contact outside the Production Department is minimal.
The position requires working from detailed instructions as well as the use of judgment to plan and perform general decisions to solve a problem or select a course of action for a standard or recognized method of operation.
This position will be under the direct supervision of the Receiving Lead and general supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor.
After adequate training, the position requires a level of accountability to complete a pre-determined amount of work or units completed per shift.
The minimum educational requirement to successfully perform this position is a high school diploma or G.E.D. certificate. Someone entering this position should have at least six (6) months experience performing similar work in a related field.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk and use hands to finger. The employee is frequently required to stand extended periods of time; reach with hands and arms below and above shoulder; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist or crawl. The employee will be required to lift/carry 1-50 pounds routinely.
