Job summary

ams OSRAM in New Hampshire is seeking a 2nd Shift Material Handler to support shipping, receiving and material movement. You will operate a lift truck, organize stock, and prepare paperwork for shipments.

Responsibilities

• Shipping and receiving materials.
• Storing materials properly and issuing/returning materials; prepare for transfers and arrange pickups.
• Verify receipts and complete/verify computerized transactions.
• Conduct inventory/cycle counts and follow packing slips and delivery procedures.
• Operate a lift truck to move goods; work under time constraints and multi-task.
• Interact with internal/external associates and drivers daily.

Your tasks

• Responsible for performing complex tasks involved in the handling of materials.
• Shipping and receiving materials.
• Storing materials properly in designated areas, following instructions to issue/return materials, returning rejected materials, prepares merchandise for transfer, arranges for pick-ups, loads/unloads trucks and prepares paperwork and labels for shipments.
• Verifies receipt of product to stores location, store-to-store transfers, return authorization requests, and completes/verifies computerized transactions.
• Conducts inventory/cycle counts procedures and can follow packing slip and delivery procedures.
• Operates a lift truck to transport goods and material throughout the facility, must have the ability to work under time constraints, multi-tasking and prioritization skills are necessary.
• Also Interacts with internal/external associates and truck drivers/delivery personnel daily.

Pay Rate: $17.50/hour
