Job summary

Doherty Staffing Solutions is seeking a Material Handler in Faribault, MN. You will conduct material transactions and support production in a fast-paced setting, with 2nd shift hours and weekly pay. This temporary/contract role offers hands-on tasks and reliable hours.

Responsibilities include ERP-based material movements, SOP adherence, forklift operation, and cycle counts, with an emphasis on accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read instructions and safely operate machines.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Compensation: $20.00 per hour – paid weekly

Schedule: 2nd shift | Monday–Thursday | 3:30PM- 2:00AM

What You’ll Do as a Material Handler

• Conduct material transactions according to production schedule and Epicor (ERP) signals
• Read, comprehend, and execute processes and procedures according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Pull, issue, and transfer parts within Epicor (ERP)
• Learn to operate various forklifts
• Read and understand job travelers and sales orders
• Perform cycle counts
• Clean, restock, and organize the warehouse area

What You Need to Bring to the Material Handler Role

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read instructions, safely operate machines, and visually inspect purchased parts
• Accuracy and timeliness in completion of work assignments
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to multitask and set priorities
• Outstanding attention to detail, organizational, and coordination abilities
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend plant directives written in English
• Willingness to participate in a pre-employment physical and drug test
