Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Material Handler for a food manufacturing site in Inver Grove Heights, MN. You will move materials, load/unload trucks, and operate forklifts to keep production running smoothly.

Qualified candidates will have warehouse experience, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, strong attention to detail, and reliable attendance. Temporary-to-hire, full-time with weekly pay.

What You'll Do as a Material Handler – 1st & 2nd Shift

• Move, stage, and transport raw materials and finished products throughout the facility
• Load and unload trucks, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks safely and efficiently
• Maintain inventory accuracy by tracking materials and updating inventory records as needed
• Supply production areas with materials to support uninterrupted operations
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and quality standards while maintaining a clean work area

What You Need to Bring to the Material Handler – 1st & 2nd Shift Role

• Previous warehouse, material handling, manufacturing, or logistics experience preferred
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification a plus)
• Basic computer and inventory tracking skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately complete shipping and receiving documentation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to pass any required pre-employment background check or drug screen
