Tenneco Elkhart is seeking a dependable Material Handler to move, load and unload materials and finished goods within the facility. You will operate a forklift, assist with inventory, and ensure accurate records are kept and safety rules followed.
The role requires attention to detail, willingness to learn, and the ability to work shifts. This position supports a fast-paced manufacturing environment and offers steady hours at our Indiana facility.

High school diploma or reading, writing, mathematical and communication skills equivalent to a high school diploma plus a minimum of 6 months' related experience. Ability to work shifts and overtime. Ability to learn other Team Member positions to serve as backup for absences, lunches, breaks, etc. At least 3 months in a computer-oriented environment is required. Previous experience operating an industrial fork truck or the ability to learn to drive an industrial fork truck and successfully pass the requirements of the Elkhart Forklift Safety Training Program in compliance with OSHA regulations is necessary.
Manually (or by hand truck, power hoist, or industrial fork truck) moves materials, supplies, and finished goods to designated places in the facility or on to trucks by performing the essential functions listed in the next section.

Tenneco Elkhart forklift license required.
