Summary

This position is responsible for unloading, counting, stocking, and recording incoming materials. It includes replenishing floor stock, removing materials from the stockroom according to the manufacturing picklist, and recording transactions. The Materials Handler will also perform scheduled cycle counts and other duties related to shipping, receiving, order processing, and material handling.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Control the movement of physical inventory and other materials in the warehouse.
• Assist with production requirements as needed.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks.
• Adhere to IMS standards.
• Perform various duties and special projects as required.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to identify part numbers and organize components on racks and carts.
• Must obtain forklift and cherry picker licenses.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, shift and line leads, and interact with quality, process, and maintenance personnel.
• Work effectively as part of a team on the production line.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED required. Knowledge of manufacturing maintenance is preferred. Must be able to read and interpret work instructions in English.

Physical Demands

Regular use of hands, reaching, talking, hearing, and tasting/smelling. Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds frequently, and perform physical tasks such as bending and moving debris. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.

Work Environment

Primarily a production and office environment with mobility required. Interaction with various personnel across departments is expected.
