Job summary

Flextronics - The Flex Company in Dallas, TX is seeking a Material Handler to support inbound and outbound shipment activities under the Materials Manager. You will handle loading/unloading, staging, and creating receipts in the system, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

The role requires at least one year in shipping/receiving, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office and ERP/MRP systems. Shift is Mon-Fri, 4:00 PM–12:30 AM, with full benefits available.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in shipping and receiving, logistics, or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiar with cycle counting and MRp/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload deliveries using forklifts, dollies, or hand trucks safely.
• Verify quality and count of all items unloaded against supplier counts and report discrepancies.
• Notify supervisor of major discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions.
• Stage received material and product in appropriate locations.
• Create shipping and receiving receipts within the system.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Material Handler located in Dallas, Texas. Reporting to the Materials Manager, the Material Handler will be responsible for processing inbound and outbound shipment activities.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM

What a typical day looks like

• Load and unload deliveries using forklifts, dollies, or hand trucks in a safe manner.
• Verifies the quality and count of all items unloaded from trucks and trailers; checks against suppliers count and immediately reports discrepancies to carriers, supervisor, and purchasing department per company policy.
• Notifies supervisor of major discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions.
• Stage received material and product in appropriate location.
• Create shipping and receiving receipts within system.
• Perform inspections on received material and product; document and refuse delivery if material and product does not meet quality standards.
• Maintains inventory management systems to ensure that orders are updated and that appropriate billing documents are provided to accounting or other associated departments, as required.
• Stages product in appropriate staging area for pick up by shipping carrier.
• Performs other related duties, as assigned.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, detail-oriented skills
• Solid organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Familiar with cycle counting, picking and posting, and working with an MRP/ERP system
