Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in Texas is seeking a Material Handler 2 to help move metal products and support the Fabrication and Production teams. You will be responsible for moving materials from tables, trailers, and crates, while maintaining safety and quality.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends. Prior warehouse experience is preferred, and OBE offers competitive benefits and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Must read, understand, and communicate paperwork and labels.
• Able to read basic measurements and use a tape measure.
• Flexible schedule including weekends as needed.
• One year of warehouse, manufacturing, or production experience preferred.
• Safety-first mindset in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials (metal, doors, frames) from tables or crates for eight or more hours daily.
• Quality inspection and operating or maneuvering equipment.
• Perform different job functions on a rotating basis.
• Inspect product for abnormalities and notify supervisor immediately.
• Use a tape measure to verify product specifications.

The Material Handler 2is focused on moving metal products from tables, facility, delivery trucks, or wood cratesand reports to the Production Supervisor.

This role is perfect for an individual who has attention to detail (safety, quality, efficiency), strong work ethic/reliability, and is a problem solver. A vital member of the Fabrication department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

• Transport of materials including metal, doors, frame from tables, delivery trucks, and/or wood crates for eight or more hours, daily.
• Quality inspection, operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipment.
• Perform different job functions on a rotating basis.
• Inspect product for any abnormalities and notifying supervisor immediately of any issues.
• Utilize a tape measure to ensure product is within the product specifications.

• Ability to read, understand, and communicate paperwork and labels.
• Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively use a tape measure.
• Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule including working weekends as necessary.
• One year of previous work experience in a warehouse, manufacturing or production facility, preferred.
