Job summary

OBE in Terrell, TX is seeking a Material Handler 2 for the Custom Entrance team on 3rd shift 11pm-7am. The role focuses on moving metal products, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency, and reports to the Production Supervisor.

This position offers an opportunity to build a career within the Fabrication department. Candidates should have at least one year in a warehouse or production setting, be able to read paperwork, measure with a tape, and willing to work weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Reading, understanding, and communicating paperwork and labels.
• Able to read basic measurements and use a tape measure.
• Flexible schedule including weekends as needed.
• One year of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production facility preferred.
• Safety-first approach in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials (metal, doors, frames) from tables, trucks, and crates for eight+ hours daily.
• Quality inspection, operate or move equipment as required.
• Perform different functions on a rotating basis.
• Inspect products for abnormalities and notify supervisor promptly.
• Use a tape measure to verify product specifications.
