Material Handler 1 - Web Press Department - 12-hr Night Shift Fixed Front

• This position is for a 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM). Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and every other Thursday.

Responsibilities:

• Feed, remove, flex, jog, and stack printed sheets, folded signatures, labels, or other in-process products to and from the equipment in the assigned area.
• Load and unload materials onto pallets, trays, racks, and shelves manually.
• Load materials into trucks and secure them with strapping, bracing, or padding using hand tools.
• Convey materials from storage or work sites to designated areas using hand trucks, electric dollies, or other devices.
• Count, weigh, and record the number of units of materials moved or handled daily.
• Attach tags or labels to materials or mark information on containers.
• Stack or assemble materials into bundles, banding them using a banding machine and clincher.
• Occasionally operate automated equipment, industrial trucks, or electric hoists for loading or moving materials.

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of warehouse layout, item identification codes, and warehouse procedures.
• Ability to stock, move, and organize items per instructions or guidance.
• Basic knowledge of shrink-wrap equipment.
• Ability to complete forms related to stock description, quantity, and labeling.
• Proficiency with manual dollies, pallet jacks, carts, hand tools, and related equipment.
