Job summary

WORKFORCE Employment Specialists, LLC is seeking a Material Handler to support assembly teams by moving pallets, delivering parts to workstations, and maintaining orderly work areas on the shop floor.

You will scan materials, update stock in the ERP system, monitor levels, and assist in other areas as needed. A forklift/HiLo experience is preferred, with good teamwork and independent work capability.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating a forklift / HiLo preferred.
• Basic computer skills with the ability to learn inventory or ERP systems.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Strong and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and stay self-motivated.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Material Handler supports the success of the Assembly Teams by ensuring materials and components are moved, stocked, and available where needed throughout the shop floor. This role works closely with the Production and Operations teams to move pallets, deliver parts to required destinations, and maintain accurate inventory through scanning and stocking activities. This is a single-employee role that may assist in other areas of the shop floor as needed.

• Move pallets and materials throughout the shop floor to designated production areas

Physical Requirements

• This position works in a manufacturing plant environment with related noise and temperature conditions
• Must be able to work safely near equipment, moving parts, machines, and forklifts
