Ingersoll Rand is hiring a Material Handler for the 1st Shift at their Moody, AL location. This on-site position requires the candidate to perform various warehouse duties focused on efficiency, accuracy, and quality management.

Responsibilities include receiving inventory, maintaining organization, SAP management, and adhering to safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience and a strong understanding of inventory systems.

Job Overview

The Material Handler will work under limited supervision and perform a variety of warehouse and inventory-related duties with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and quality.

This role requires willingness to work mandatory overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Work independently under limited supervision to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Receive inventory from vendors, inspect for conformance, and process receipts into SAP
• Maintain accurate storage locations and warehouse organization
• Update SAP system with inventory movements and new storage locations
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits
• Read and interpret basic blueprints and work instructions
• Pull, stage, and supply materials for shipping and production needs
• Ensure assembly cells are stocked with required materials
• Maintain, inspect, and clean equipment as required
• Follow 6S principles to maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Follow all safety, environmental, and PPE requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned
