Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Stanfield, NC is seeking a Material Handler for 1st shift (M-F, 6am-2pm) to maintain inventories, supply components, and keep areas clean. You will also coordinate material flow, operate floor scrubbers, and handle lifting and safety practices.

1–2 years' experience and a forklift cert are preferred. A strong teammate with basic computer skills and knowledge of MRP systems will thrive in this role, with opportunities for OT and growth in a global manufacturing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of experience preferred.
• Fork truck certification required.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of MRP systems and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain component inventories in storage locations and MRP system.
• Supply components to productive floor based on demand.
• Keep work areas clean and safe per housekeeping standards.
• Coordinate distribution of raw materials and finished components.
• Operate floor scrubbers and perform lifting/bending as needed.
• Work overtime as needed, including Saturdays.
