Job summary

Our client in Madison is seeking a Full-Time Material Handler to join their team. The role offers a 1st shift schedule (6:30a-3:30p Monday-Thursday, 6:00a-12:00p Friday) with a starting pay of $17.50/hour and overtime at time-and-a-half. Remedy Staffing provides weekly pay and benefits from day one.

Forklift certification is required and onsite training is provided. You will handle order preparation, inventory checks, shipping docs, forklift loading, material receiving, and warehouse space

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required (provided onsite).
• Ability to read pick tickets and understand customer requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are important.

Responsibilities

• Prepare orders for shipment according to pick tickets and customer requirements.
• Check inventory to verify availability of stock.
• Prepare shipping documentation.
• Load products onto trucks using a forklift.
• Receive and unload incoming materials and reconcile packing slips with purchase orders.
• Manage warehouse space and maximize storage efficiency.
