Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Material Handler for the 1st shift in Elk River, MN. The role involves supporting multiple warehouse operations, including material handling, shipping and receiving, and general production tasks.

Responsibilities include picking/packing, RF scanning, pallet building, forklift operation where qualified, and ERP-based inventory tasks. This is a contract-to-hire onsite position with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment is preferred.
• Ability to operate RF scanners and forklifts where qualified.

Responsibilities

• Work in different warehouse departments and adapt to changing assignments.
• Pick and pack orders accurately using pick sheets.
• Use RF scanners to locate, scan, and track inventory.
• Build pallets and break down boxes for storage or shipment.
• Operate pallet jacks to move materials and products.
• Drive reach trucks, stand-up forklifts, sit-down forklifts, and tuggers when qualified.
• Load and unload trucks using lifts or pallet jacks.
• Support shipping and receiving at dock doors and prepare shipments.
• Use Epicor ERP for shipping/receiving tasks and basic data entry.
• Assist with general production and warehouse distribution tasks to maintain workflow.
• Follow safety procedures and keep work area clean.
