Job summary

RRD Company in Wisconsin is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support packaging and materials handling in our warehouse operations. Responsibilities include stocking, moving, and labeling items; using banding and shrink-wrap tools; and ensuring accurate documentation for shipments.

We offer day or mid shifts with a $1/hr differential for the mid shift. The role requires reliability, basic equipment handling, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Stock, move, arrange, and rotate items per operating instructions.
• Complete forms for stock description, quantity, and labeling for incoming/outgoing materials.
• Proficient with shrink-wrap and strapping equipment, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and related tools.
• Knowledge of warehouse layout, item codes, and storage areas to place or pull stock.

Responsibilities

• Lay up, feed, or pile materials at equipment.
• Jog product off counter stacker and stack neatly on skid for bindery or mailing.
• Complete skid flags and packaging slips for accurate tracking.
• Attach tags or labels to materials and document case/bale information.
• Stack or bundle materials into bundles using banding machine and clincher.
• May operate industrial trucks or hoist to load/move materials.

Job Description

Compensation:

$16.00/hr - $18.00/hr

Available Shifts:

Day Shift: 5:00AM to 3:00 PM Monday-Thursday

Mid Shift: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM Monday -Thursday

Job Duties

• Responsible for laying up, feeding or piling down materials at equipment
• Jog product off counter stacker and stack neatly on skid to assure good running in bindery or mailing department
• Complete skid flags and packaging slips to ensure accurate tracking
• Install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit, using hand tools
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers
• Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together, using banding machine and clincher.
• May use automated equipment and/or occasionally operate industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products

Qualifications

• Able to stock, move, arrange, and rotate items in accordance with operating instructions
• Able to complete appropriate forms relating to stock description, quantity, unit of issue, and the labeling requirements for incoming and outgoing materials
• Good skill in the use of shrink-wrap and strapping equipment, powered lift equipment, pallet jacks, manual dollies, carts or hand trucks and hand tools used in material handling tasks such as hammers, pliers, strapping and stretch wrapping tools and equipment, tape fasteners, metal band sheers and related equipment
• Good knowledge of general warehouse layout, item identification codes, basic warehouse procedures, and the storage areas in order to be able to place or pull paper stock, signatures and materials in accordance with standard procedures
• May require experience in operating/using forklift truck.
