Job summary

Energizer Holdings, located in Vandalia, OH, is seeking a warehouse associate to support inbound/outbound processes, material movement, and inventory control on 1st shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM). You will operate stand-up forklifts, assist with packaging, and help ensure accurate shipping and receiving documentation.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of warehouse experience, forklift operation (counterbalance) experience, and familiarity with SAP/WMS.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education experience.
  • 2+ years’ experience operating in a warehouse setting.
  • 2+ years’ experience on Stand-up counterbalance forklifts.
  • Skilled in SAP/WMS and functionality of Windows Tablet (i.e. material look up).

Responsibilities

  • Operate stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently (minimum two years of experience required).
  • Complete all required safety, compliance, and regulatory training.
  • Support production operations by supplying materials to front, back, and pull-to-line activities.
  • Assist with secondary packaging and blending operations (training provided).
  • Stage finished goods in designated areas for outbound shipments to DHL.
  • Receive and unload inbound shipments with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Train and operate High Reach equipment for material put-away and inventory management.
  • Ensure all shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation is completed accurately and on time.
  • Perform routine forklift and material handling equipment maintenance, including battery charging, water level checks, and equipment inspections.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and departments to support operational goals and resolve issues.
  • Follow established procedures, verbal instructions, and radio communications to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with Visual Management and 5S standards.
  • Adhere to all Health, Safety, Environmental, and OSHA policies and regulations.
  • Proactively identify and elevate issues impacting Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost metrics.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive team culture.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support business operations.

Position Summary

1st Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

The role will be responsible for supporting facility safety programs while performing duties related to unloading inbound receipts, stock put-a-ways, loading, and supporting operations through material movements throughout the distribution operation.

Work Environment
  • Weight: Lifting up to 60 LBS., with the ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
