Job summary

Olympic Steel is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler to safely move inventory within our warehouses. You will manually load and unload material, assist truck loading, and support machine operators to keep production and shipping on schedule.

Ideal candidates have 2 years of dependable work experience, basic math skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Olympic Steel offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within a large, stable company.

Qualifications

• 1 year of manufacturing/warehouse experience preferred
• Basic math skills required

The Material handler will be responsible for safely and manually moving inventory to distribute in the warehouses.

• Manually load and unload material
• Loads and unloads trucks
• Assists machine operators
• Packs and prepares product for shipment
• Knowledge of power tools and machinery
• Skilled at Hand/Eye coordination
• Ability to work in a fast paced enviroment
• 2 years of dependable work experience
• 1 year of manufacturing/warehouse experience preferred
• Basic math skills
