• Experience with forklifts and basic math skills are essential.

Job description

Pay: $19.00 - $23.62 per hour depending on experience
Schedule: Mon - Fri, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, with some overtime as needed

How You Will Make an Impact:

The Material Handler is responsible for loading and unloading materials from trucks and assisting with inventory maintenance.

The Nuts and Bolts:

• Load, unload, and check in freight
• Store and document freight
• Deliver materials to the production area
• Count and organize the part storage area
• Read and interpret written orders, specifications, and labels
• Perform safety and quality checks
• Follow all safety policies
• Handle Hazardous Waste according to regulations and company policies

Required Credentials:

• Basic math, tape measurement, and computer skills
• Experience with Forklifts/PIT Equipment
• Ability to understand measurements
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints for special applications
• Must be at least 18 years old

Preferred Credentials (not required):

• Experience in manufacturing
• Experience working on truck bodies
• High School Diploma or GED

Physical Requirements:

This job operates in a manufacturing environment. You will need to:

• Talk and hear regularly
• Stand, walk, and perform repetitive hand tasks
• Reach, lift up to 35 pounds, and work in confined spaces or at heights
