Melaleuca: The Wellness Company in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Full‑Time 1st Shift Material Handler to store, stock, load trucks, and move materials in a warehouse setting. This position does not operate a forklift and runs Monday–Friday, 6:30 am–3:00 pm, with peak days starting early.

Starting pay is $16.10 per hour and up, based on experience. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, paid holidays and PTO, plus bonus programs and product vouchers. No layoffs guarantee emphasized.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly during shifts.
• Strong written and verbal communication across teams.

• Basic math skills (add/subtract) used for counts and logs.
• Comfort in a fast-paced warehouse environment with safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Move inventory materials to support shipping and distribution.
• Keep accurate counts of stock and supplies.
• Maintain clean, hazard-free areas behind lines and pack area.
• Load customer orders on pallets and trailers on dock.

Schedule

Monday – Friday 6:30 am – 3:00 pm. Peak days (4–5 days/month) start at 4:30 am.

• Move inventory materials to and from the various locations to support shipping/distribution.
• Keep accurate counts of stock and supplies.
• Keep all areas behind the lines and in the pack area clean and free of hazards.
• Load customers' orders on correct pallets and on trailers on the dock.

This position does not operate a forklift.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. regularly and consistently over duration of shift
• Ability to pull, stretch, bend, and lift regularly and consistently over duration of shift
• Good written and verbal communication skills across all levels within organization
• Ability to read, write, and follow established operational procedures
• Ability to perform basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, etc.)
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment on a prolonged basis while maintaining safety and quality
