Job summary

Bodycote in Kentucky is seeking a material handling associate to safeguard customer inventory and support production with precise data capture in a safe environment.

Qualifications

• This position requires ITAR compliance; therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holder.
• Education – High School diploma.
• Demonstrated organization and documentation skills.
• Working experience in a production environment or shipping and receiving experience preferred.

Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities): The primary duties consist of, but are not limited to the following.

• This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customer’s inventory and as such will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage.

• Receive deliveries and unpack product for production

• Inspect incoming customer parts and verify product count

• Initiate the job folder and hand off to production planning

• Document all applicable data for parts being received per job folder

• Prepare all appropriate documents to go with parts as per job folder

• Observe all Environment, Health and Safety Policy requirements

  • Keeping work area neat and orderly at all times

  • Wearing safety glasses in identified areas

  • Wearing protective gloves when working with solvents/chemicals

  • Disposal of waste per safety standards
