Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic computer skills including Windows, email and internet use.
• Strong communication, reading, math and organizational skills.
• Manufacturing, warehouse or material handling experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials and parts to designated production and storage areas.
• Stage parts and deliver kanban containers to production departments.
• Load and unload freight shipments.
• Verify packing slips, quantities received and backordered items.
• Inspect incoming products for damage and document issues as needed.
• Organize and store inventory in designated locations.
• Assist with inventory counts and year-end inventory procedures.

What You’ll Do as a Material Handler – 1st Shift

• Transport materials and parts to designated production and storage areas
• Stage parts and deliver kanban containers to production departments

What You Need to Bring to the Material Handler – 1st Shift Role

• High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Basic computer skills, including Windows, email, and internet use
• Strong communication, reading, math, and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds from floor to waist and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to push and/or pull up to 100 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders or stairs throughout the shift
• Manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling experience is helpful but not required
