Job summary

Miller Electric Mfg. LLC in Wisconsin's Appleton distribution center is seeking a collaborative team player to handle shipping and receiving for Miller and Hobart products. This role is subject to overtime hours as needed.

The ideal candidate will load/unload trucks, receive POs, process returns with customer service, perform cycle counts, cross-train across inbound/outbound operations, create bills of lading, and communicate with carriers. A team-oriented, detail-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Comfortable with computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Legible writing and clear oral communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Dexterity to sit on lift truck up to 10 hours daily.
• Willingness to work overtime.
• Experience operating equipment in a narrow aisle.
• Understanding of a clean work environment.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Miller Electric is looking for a collaborative team player who can effectively work with others towards common goals. As a key member of our Wisconsin Distribution Center, this individual will primarily focus on the shipping and receiving operations for Miller and Hobart products. This role is subject to overtime hours as needed.

What you’ll do:

• Load/unload trucks

• Receive purchase orders into the system

• Process Returns and work with our customer service team to resolve customer exceptions

• Cycle counting

• Cross train with Central receiving and intra-inbound and outbound of the distribution center, which includes creating Bills of lading, email and answering phone / voice messages.

• Communicate with external carriers and internal business units

• Monitor inventory levels inbound to facilitate outbound weight allowances

What you’ll need:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to multitask- prioritize demand / need with more than one task pending

• Comfortable with computers / General computer knowledge (Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook (email), & Excel)
