Job summary

Pregis in Sussex, WI is seeking a Material Handler to move materials, load and unload pallets, and manage inventory in a safe, efficient manner. You’ll operate a forklift, use barcode scanners, and communicate discrepancies to leadership to maintain throughput.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least 0.5 years in a technical role. Weekend night shifts are required with overtime opportunities and a robust benefits package is offered.

• Ability to operate forklift and use barcode scanners as part of daily tasks.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB

This Individual is responsible for performing various activities that pertain to Material Handling. Transport materials into, out of, and throughout the assigned department. Conduct duties and responsibilities in a safe, controlled, and organized manner to internal customers that is conducive to increase throughput.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

High School diploma, or GED equivalent required; 0.5 years related experience in a technically oriented position, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

This position is paid on an hourly and bi-weekly basis with eligibility for over-time pay at 1.5x, the regular rate. We offershift differentials for Nights plus an additional weekend premium for weekend shifts.

Hourly employees are eligible for most benefits as of the first day of the month following date of hire.
