Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Material Handler to receive, transfer, and deliver extruded aluminum and other materials within the Terrell, Texas facility. You will help with quality inspection and maintain a safe, organized work area to support production needs.

Requirements include at least one year of forklift experience, warehouse or production facility experience, ability to read labels and documentation, and proficiency with pallet jacks.

Qualifications

• One year of forklift experience is required.
• One year of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing or production facility.
• Able to learn material handling documentation process.
• Able to read, understand, and communicate information regarding paperwork and labels - verify labels on product to ensure material is moved to the correct location.
• Able to use a hand pallet jack and motorized pallet jack to move material.
• Strong communication skills.
• Takes initiative and prioritizes requirements for the work day.
• Assist with general housekeeping in the work areas department.
• Follow verbal and basic written instructions.
• Can work in a team environment.
• Must have flexible work availability to work "off shift" or overtime as required.
• Must be able to adapt to constant change.
