Job summary

BlueScope Buildings North America, Inc. is seeking a diligent Material Handler to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and related equipment to receive, move, and stage raw materials and finished goods around the plant, yard, or loading areas.

You will contribute to safety, accuracy, and efficiency in a collaborative, team-focused environment, with hands-on training and opportunities for growth and advancement across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Load Materials: Load and unload raw materials and finished goods onto or from pallets, industrial racks, trailers, trucks, etc.
• Transport Materials: Transports materials from storage or production areas and places in designated areas.
• Lift and Position Materials: Safely use lifting devices, such as cranes and forklifts, to position materials or parts as needed.
• Contribute to Improvement: Actively participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
