What You’ll Get to Do

The Material Handler is focused on handling glass pieces and rotating them through the various phases of the tempering, laminating, cutting, or shipping processes, reporting to the Department Supervisor.

The role requires strong attention to detail in areas of safety, quality, and efficiency, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well in a team environment. It is a vital member of the Production Team and an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

• Move glass product from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight or more hours daily
• Transport materials including glass from one position to another to expedite the production process
• Perform quality inspection, operate equipment, and/or manually maneuver equipment
• Use a tape measure to ensure product is within specifications
• Maintain a safe and clean work area
