Job summary

Old-Castle-Building-Envelop is seeking an entry-level inspector to label, package, and inspect glass and metal products according to specifications. Cross-training within the department may be required. This role does not involve forklift operation.

The typical shift is 7am-3pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime or a Saturday shift possible as needed. You will work in a manufacturing environment focused on accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and self-motivation.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to read (or learn to read) a tape measure, including decimals and fractions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect workpieces for defects and verify specifications (dimensions, finish, placement)
• Use measuring tools to ensure products meet guidelines
• Buff minor defects as needed
• Label, stock, wrap, and prepare materials for shipment
• Perform basic equipment cleaning
• Handle physical tasks including lifting (up to 75 lbs), bending, and standing in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Maintain attention to detail and quality while working independently or on a team

Job Summary
