Job summary

Pacer Group is seeking a warehouse associate to handle pallet and case picking, scanning bar codes, and packing orders. You will use RF devices to process orders and ensure accurate shipment packaging while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

The role requires a HS/GED, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and comfort with a rotating 6pm-6am schedule on weekends. Steel toe or composite shoes are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 1 year of relevant experience helpful.
• Experience with Walkie Rider/pallet jack preferred.
• Good verbal communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment.
• Ability to read and interpret distribution documents and operate RF devices.

Responsibilities

• Pallet and case picking; scan bar codes, label boxes, and pack orders.
• Process orders using RF technology and maintain GDP-compliant records.
• Build pallets and prepare shipments; assist with dock manifests as needed.
• Keep work area clean and follow safety procedures; report hazards.

Pay rate: $22.70 (includes shift diff)
6pm-6am on a rotating shift schedule weekends included
One week is 2 days on; 2 days off; 3 days on
Next week is 2 days off; 2 days on; 3 days off
HS/GED required
Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
Steel toe or composite shoes are required for the job assignment.

General Summary Duties and Responsibilities

Pallet/Case Picking Processing customer orders including but not limited to: scanning bar codes, picking and labeling boxes. Pick and pack orders. Processing orders through RF technology. Maintains an acceptable work area as outlined in SOP and work instructions. Responsible for following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) as outlined in SOP. Complete all necessary RF device training to obtain the necessary profiles Responsible for accuracy verification and shipment packaging. Pallet Build Palletizing to include scanning, retrieving and placing completed orders on pallets. Re-palletizing products for shipment. May be responsible for dock manifest duties which includes scanning completed pallets and running the shrink wrapper. May be required to transport pallets by walking MHE. Responsible for accuracy verification and shipment packaging. Additional Duties Must follow all safety instructions to maintain safe working conditions and to adhere to proper operating practices and procedures designed to prevent injuries and illnesses. May be required to perform other duties as assigned. Must adhere to attendance policies. Required to maintain current status in C2C training modules.

Become knowledgeable with the responsibilities of the other warehouse positions. Assist as required. Act as back up at times of absence or vacation.

Job Requirements

High School diploma, GED or 1 year of relevant experience required. Experience with Walkie Ryder (motorized Pallet Jack) preferred. Good verbal communication skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks or projects. Ability to work in a fast paced distribution environment. Ability to read and interpret distribution documents. Ability to work well with others. Ability to work under minimal supervision. May be required to operate MHE and use Voice/RF scanner. Ability to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment. Basic analytical, organizational and prioritization skills. General distribution knowledge. Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without accommodation.
