Material Handler Job Description

Department: Warehouse

Position Type: Hourly

Hourly Wage: $23.50

Function: Operations

Summary

Reporting to the Materials Manager, this position is responsible for receiving all SAP ordered items accurately and promptly. Maintaining proper paperwork and understanding batch run materials are crucial. The employee must have strong organizational skills and be able to handle multiple tasks. This high-visibility role impacts various operational areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Receiving primary, secondary, and raw materials into SAP for delivery into the plant or contracted warehouses.
2. Maintaining accurate shipping paperwork, Certificates of Analysis, driver information, and other receiving documentation aligned with Kraft Heinz standards.
3. Handling discrepancies in the receiving process.
4. Maintaining Employee Food Safety Awareness.
5. Working flexible hours and weekends as needed.
6. Performing other duties as assigned.

This role also holds accountability for QRMP standards as outlined in the Winchester Kraft Heinz QRMP accountability document.
